Floredo privacy notice

Floredo is a project of Seedwise Company B.V. (KVK: 42088282). We are responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy notice.

This notice covers our website, newsletter and email correspondence with us. If you have questions about your personal data, you can contact us at support@floredo.nl.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address, the dates of your signup and confirmation, and your subscription status. We use this information to keep you informed about the development of Floredo, early access and the launch.

Signing up is voluntary. We send the newsletter based on your consent. After signing up, you receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You will not receive newsletters without confirmation.

We use information about deliveries, delivery failures and unsubscribes to manage sending and keep our mailing list up to date. This serves our legitimate interest in reliable delivery and preventing unwanted emails. We do not track whether you open newsletters or click links in them.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by emailing us. This withdraws your consent. It does not affect the lawfulness of the use of your data before you withdrew your consent.

We keep your newsletter data for as long as you remain subscribed and we offer the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we stop sending you newsletters and delete your personal data from the mailing list within one month at the latest.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we use your email address and the information in your message, including any attachments, to answer your question and stay in contact with you.

We keep correspondence to retain the context of earlier conversations and maintain our business relationship with you. This serves our legitimate interest in handling enquiries carefully and maintaining business contacts.

We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for these purposes, but no longer than three years after the last message in the relevant correspondence.

Website and technical data

To display our website, your browser connects to the server where the website is hosted. This involves processing technical data, including your IP address and the pages requested.

Our hosting provider may have technical connection data, including IP addresses, and may process it to operate and secure the hosting service. Access logging for website visits is disabled on our web server. This does not rule out technical logging by the hosting provider.

We use hosting to keep the website available and secure. This serves our legitimate interest in a properly functioning website.

The website remembers your language choice in your browser’s local storage. You can remove this preference through your browser settings.

The newsletter signup form loads components from EmailOctopus and Google, including reCAPTCHA to protect against misuse and Google Fonts to display text. When these components are loaded and used, these providers may receive technical data, such as your IP address and browser information.

Who do we share your data with?

We use external service providers for:

managing subscriptions and sending newsletters: EmailOctopus;
receiving, sending and storing our email correspondence;
hosting our website;
the signup form components described above.

The data a service provider receives depends on the service. EmailOctopus processes information about your subscription and the sending of newsletters. Our email service processes your correspondence with us. The hosting provider and providers of form components may process technical data.

EmailOctopus is provided by Three Hearts Digital Ltd in the United Kingdom. According to EmailOctopus, application data is stored in the European Union. More information is available on the EmailOctopus data protection page.

We may also disclose data when we are legally required to do so.

Processing outside the European Economic Area

For our email correspondence, we use an email service provider in the United States. Your email address, messages and any attachments may therefore be processed in the United States.

The data processing agreement of this provider, Namecheap, provides for the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EEA. These contain obligations to protect your personal data. You can consult these clauses in Namecheap’s data processing agreement.

What are your rights?

You can ask us to:

give you access to your personal data;
correct inaccurate data or complete missing information;
delete your personal data;
restrict the use of your data;
provide your data in a commonly used digital format, where the right to data portability applies.

You can object to processing based on a legitimate interest. For the newsletter, you can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Send your request to support@floredo.nl. We respond within one month. If a request is complex and we need more time, we will let you know within that month. If we cannot fulfil a request, or can only fulfil it in part, we will explain why.

Do you have a complaint?

Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about the use of your personal data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority. You do not need to contact us first.

Changes

We may update this privacy notice when our services or the way we process personal data change. The current version is available on our website.
